The Galion Public Library Removes Three Houses
in Preparation for Future Expansion

Pictures from Mid-December, 2003

The middle house yields first.   Pulled down from behind.   Now it is only a pile of rubble.
The brown house by the alley.   Starting from the rear.   The front porch is the last to go.
The two houses have been reduced to kindling wood and are taken away.

As it was for a long time.   It was unbelievably too easy.   And a little hard to get used to.
The old Todd House is about to pass into history on this cold morning.
Church Street to the left and Market Street is to the right.
